Lovense Solace Review
Introduction
The Lovense Solace is a telescopic automatic stroker with app control, designed for hands-free use and interactive long-distance or scripted play.
My Experience
The Lovense Solace entered my testing rotation about a year ago and quickly became my preferred hands-free stroker for long sessions and partner control. I’ve used it in dozens of scenarios—solo scripted marathons, VR porn sync, long-distance play, and even testing new funscripts before public release. Setup is simple: insert sleeve, connect via Bluetooth/WiFi, mount on a flat surface or use the included stand, and you’re ready. The telescopic mechanism provides a surprisingly long stroke (up to ~3.5 inches), which feels more natural than shorter-stroke devices.
Vibration at the tip adds extra stimulation, and the app allows fine control over speed, depth, and vibration patterns. I’ve run full-length movies through MultiFunPlayer + Buttplug.io—the Solace tracks scripts with good accuracy, especially for medium-to-fast paced content. During one 90-minute VR session, it kept perfect pace with on-screen action, delivering consistent stroking without fatigue (since I was completely hands-free). Partner control is excellent; the app’s live dashboard lets them adjust parameters in real time, and I’ve had sessions where they teased me for over an hour before allowing release.
Build quality is solid—sturdy base, quiet motor at low-to-medium speeds, and the sleeve is removable for easy cleaning. Battery lasts ~2 hours of heavy use, which is sufficient for most sessions. The biggest limitation is noise at maximum speed—it gets noticeably loud, so late-night use requires headphones or closed doors. Also, while script fidelity is good, it’s not quite as precise as The Handy 2 Pro for very detailed micro-movements.
After extensive use, I find the Solace to be an excellent middle-ground option: more stroke length than the Max 2, quieter and more affordable than high-end machines, and fully interactive. It’s especially great for people who want hands-free scripted play without building an OSR2/SR6 rig.
Pros
- Long telescopic stroke for realistic motion
- Hands-free design with good mounting
- Strong app and script support
- Affordable compared to premium strokers
Cons
- Loud at max speed
- Less precise on micro-movements
The Verdict
Great hands-free interactive stroker for scripted and long-distance play on a reasonable budget.
